EA Sports Active 2 USB dongle - linux - Episteme - 08-16-2014 Hi, I have the Wii EA Sports Active 2 USB dongle which connects wirelessly to a heart rate monitor and motion sensor. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get it working... I am useing Dolphin version 4.0-2554, Linux Mint 17 64bit. I've read on the Wiki that it should work, but can't seem to find a 'how-to' anywhere. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful. Thanks! Epi RE: EA Sports Active 2 USB dongle - linux - skid - 08-16-2014 Basically, you have to install libusb on the USB dongle. There are some instructions here: https://github.com/pbatard/libwdi/wiki/Zadig It should work similarly under Linux. Once libusb is installed, start up Dolphin and the game will detect the monitor. RE: EA Sports Active 2 USB dongle - linux - Episteme - 08-17-2014 Thanks for the reply, grateful for your assistance. Right - get the driver installed. Makes sense, thanks. Unfortunately, there is no port of that driver/install script (zadig) for linux... but, I've managed to discover lsusb, and can now scan my usb devices - so I'm off to a good start. I'll keep you posted as I develop a solution. Epi. |
