Wii Z Button doesn't work? - Rew - 08-14-2014

This is really stupid, but how do you get the stinkin' Z button to work for Wii games?

When I go to the Wiimote settings menu, the only place for the Nunchuk I can see is the "Shake" section, and Z is automatically mapped to "Click 2." What is that? I figured out that "Click 0" is left-click and "Click 1" is right-click--but those are the only clicking options my laptop has, so I have no idea what "Click 2" is. (My next thought was double-clicking, but I tried that it and didn't work.) But whenever I try to change the Z button to something like the letter A or BACK or BACKSLASH--none of those work. I press the corresponding button on my keyboard in-game and nothing happens.

How do I fix this? (Astonishingly, extensive Google searches yielded nothing on this problem.) Help!

Another extremely stupid question:

Where is the mute feature?? It only lets me turn down the volume to 1% (which I can still hear clearly). I want to have my own music from my computer playing instead of the game sounds. Surely there is a way to mute as if one were muting one's television while playing a game? (Sorry if I'm frustrated--for this question too, another Google search gave me no relevant results, even though I think it's a very simple question.)

Click 2 is middle click. Remap it if you don't have a middle click.

Switch audio backend to no audio output.

Thanks Rachel. But I tried to remap to a different button (like I explained earlier), but nothing happens. What did I do wrong?
