Audio Stutter - hermanthecool - 08-10-2014 Hello, I have 30-60 fps at all times in the games I play, (Lord of the rings the third age, Resident evil 1, 2, and Zero) but I get audio stutter. There is also some sort of audio slow-down when the fps drops, thanks EDIT-------- Problem solved, was using stable build and switched to latest Dev build and problems fixed. RE: Audio Stutter - JMC47 - 08-10-2014 Are you using the vbeam speedhack? RE: Audio Stutter - hermanthecool - 08-10-2014 (08-10-2014, 05:10 PM)JMC47 Wrote: Are you using the vbeam speedhack? Where is that setting located so I can check? RE: Audio Stutter - JMC47 - 08-10-2014 Odds are if you don't know where it is, then it's not on. It's in the game properties page when you right click a game. Bluebox will mean INI default, which means it's off. Audio usually stutters when a game is not full speed, or in rare cases during videos (due to an unknown bug in some format.) Any ideas on how to fix the audio stutter? it seems to happen when my fps drops from 60 to 30 its like one letter at a time when they talk, like h-e-l-lo it' hard to explain really. If I could get it fixed then I could play all the games I have without the audio stutter. RE: Audio Stutter - JMC47 - 08-10-2014 If your framerate is dropping, the game isn't running full speed. That drastic of a drop means vsync is on. Turn vsync off, and it should help. Turn vsync off, and it should help. V-Sync has been off, the only time the audio stutter seems to start is when zombies appear in Resident Evil 2 for example, when they die and I go to another area the stutter stops. Maybe my GTX 750 TI isn't powerful enough because I am getting 25-30 fps in some areas and 60 in some on Resident evil 2. I have a fairly weak CPU so I don't know what to do, I can deal with the fps it's just the audio stutter. I tested a thing, the only time audio stutters is if fps drops below 30 Idk if it's just the game, but fps is capped at 30 unless I'm in a menu. RE: Audio Stutter - DJBarry004 - 08-12-2014 What is your specific CPU model? Speed issues usually happen when the CPU is not strong enough. It's a Intel® Pentium® CPU G860 @ 3.00GHz, so it's pretty bad.. I just figured my GTX 750 TI could pull me through somehow, is there a way to make more things process through the gpu rather than the cpu? maybe it would help (08-12-2014, 08:39 AM)hermanthecool Wrote:(08-12-2014, 01:17 AM)DJBarry004 Wrote: What is your specific CPU model? On lord of the rings third age I was using the stable build, I switched to latest and I have 30-60 fps now, thanks for the help. |
