Bluetooth dongles for -TR remotes - how to find one that will work? (UK) - Haiyukin - 08-07-2014 So I thought it would be a bit simpler to find and buy a cheap Bluetooth adapter that would work, and many people having posted about this doesn't seem to have helped - I've searched about a lot but the search function on these forums isn't great. The problem is that a lot of the ones that people are saying worked (like Inland or Rocketfish) aren't cheaply available in the UK. How do we know a bluetooth dongle is compatible with the Toshiba stack? I found this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00EQ8VEPW/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i4?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=063M8RJSRRMR9K377BTG&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=455344027&pf_rd_i=468294 which is listed on the Wiibrew list of working devies as being compatible with the Toshiba stack, and so should work (and I'll get that if I can't find a micro one) but is there a micro one anywhere that we know is compatible? Or do we just go for lucky dip when getting one?# Or - is the best plan to get a good generic bluetooth adapter and follow the instructions here https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-rvl-cnt-01-tr?pid=189694&mode=threaded#pid189694) to force the Toshiba stack on it? I've been using this one for example RE: Bluetooth dongles for -TR remotes - how to find one that will work? (UK) - MayImilae - 08-07-2014 There is one on the Recommended Accessories page. Also, you can now use the DolphinBar (http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Sensor-DolphinBar-Pc/dp/B00HZWEB74/ref=as_sl_pc_ss_mfw?&linkCode=wey&tag=dolphin-emu-20) for this, which is a sensor bar + bluetooth with (now anyway) full support for -TR wiimotes. You'll need to keep to recent dev builds for it though, since support for it was only recently fixed. RE: Bluetooth dongles for -TR remotes - how to find one that will work? This http://www.fishpond.co.uk/Electronics/Azio-BTD-V201-USB-Micro-Bluetooth-Adapter-Class-1-V21-EDR/0230494822080?utm_source=googleps&utm_medium=ps&utm_campaign=UK is the only thing I could find and that's imported, which will take ages to deliver. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hama-Bluetooth-Adapter-Version-Class2/dp/B001NW746W/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1407401430&sr=1-1&keywords=hama+bluetooth seems the way to go, I think. Thanks guys! RE: Bluetooth dongles for -TR remotes - how to find one that will work? (UK) - Tobias Claren - 08-08-2014 Hi. I am also search a BT dongle. Compatible with windows 8.1. There a dongles for €1 incl. shipping from China/Hong-Kong. There are also identical-looking dongles from german dealer with the title: "Bluetooth Dongle USB Stick for Wii Remote Controller Wireless up to 100 meters" Original: "Bluetooth Stick Dongle USB für Wii Remote Controller Kabellos bis zu 100 Meter" http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/251194071378 Here are the ebay list up from €1: http://www.ebay.de/sch/USBBluetoothAdapter-Dongles-/44999/i.html?_sop=15&LH_BIN=1&_dcat=44999&rt=nc&LH_ItemCondition=1000 RE: Bluetooth dongles for -TR remotes - how to find one that will work? I think the one you listed is not going to work. It's really, really hard to tell though - the only way I found is through the list here: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/List_of_Working_Bluetooth_Devices |
