Issue with mapping DS3 right stick to Wiimote Classic Controller rightstick - Azurae - 07-28-2014
Hi all,
I'm trying to play Xenoblade Chronicles with a DualShock3 in Windows7 x64 via Motioninjoy, the usual driver used to plug DS3s.
In order to do that, i mapped the DS3 to a emulated wiimote extended with a classical controller, establishing a 1:1 map, in the sense of left stick to left stick, triggers, buttons, etc.
Common sense till here. I can check the correct functioning of sticks in the config panel, both sticks move the red dot correctly.
But, when i'm ingame, the camera doesn't work properly. Left works fine, up works fine, but right and down input a left and an up respectively. So, i can't move the camera properly.
Is this a knows issue till revision 4.0-2306? Because i don't know if this happened to more people in earlier revs.

Basically, there is a problem with the code right now for configuring the classic controller in emulated wiimote. It should be fixed very soon.

While this won't help with your issue, you should definitely ditch MotionInJoy for the SCP Drivers. You'll be glad you did.

As MaJoR has said in his amended post, this has been fixed for you hopefully. So grab the latest master build and let us know

I had the same problem (in RO7E7D); it's indeed fixed in master
