Simple CPU question - DRJACK6 - 07-25-2014
I play 3 things on dolphin.
New Super Mario Bros Wii
Mario Kart Wii
Super Smash Bros Brawl
Can a watercooled i7-4790k run these at 2x resolution using hd-4600 graphics?

Why would you watercool a i7 4790k if you can't afford a GPU?

The i7-4790K will play everything except the most demanding games at stock. The HD 4600 can hit between 2-3x IR for most games, and should for those.

@O.P.: What Anti-Ultimate meant is that water cooling a CPU is way more expensive than buying a new GPU...

GPU = $300

Intel HD 4600 is almost as fast as Nvidia GT 630
A 70$ GPU like AMD 7750 can kill it badly
110$ GPU like EVGA GTX 750 can handle 3 or 4x IR
300$ GPU is rediculous

Mario Kart Wii has a bit of a struggle on 2x on the i7 4790k or maybe the settings I have are wrong, but it can run it at 1.5 with hd graphics 4600. Other two work great on 2x.
