Can't get ds4 to work - maralieus - 07-22-2014
I am running windows 7, dolphin 3.0, and ds4 to xinput wrapper and "trying" to play the GC version of RE1. I have gotten the controller to work no problem on dolphin 3.5. The problem is I can not get that version to emulate my game properly, my fps is all wacky and inconsistent and the sound is all crackly. I have messed with all the FPS settings and had no luck getting 3.5 to run smoothly. However version 3.0 is running it very well at a consistent 30 fps. Problem there is that my DS4 refuses to work with 3.0. I have tried uninstalling the xinput driver, and going straight d-input. It shows up in the GC pad settings, both when I have it in x-input and d-input. Problem is it still doesnt do anything, only keyboard and mouse work. Both of which are bluetooth as well. What gives? I either need to get the controller working on 3.0 or get 3.5 running smoothly. Both have the exact same settings, but totally different results. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm dying to play some RE1!
I attached my settings for version 3.5 if anyone thinks they can give me a tip to getting it running smoothly.

We don't give help to versions beneath 4.0.2, the latest stable version. Try the latest dev version; it's faster than 3.5 and 3.0, and we can actually help you with it.
