How to bypass wiimote screen starting game. - omnix32 - 08-16-2009
I would like to use the njoy controller I use for gamecube as the first controller. for some reason I am unable to bypass the wiimote screen when starting games and it defaults to keyboard.
My controller works fine Ps3 with motioninjoy and the analogs work fine in the Wiimote configuration screen though I can't assign Ps3 buttons to anything.
The second player picks up as my njoy configured Ps3 controller and works fine but I want to use the ps3 controller for first player.
I was able to play Resident evil Chronicles just fine at one time but now thats not possible with controller. something changed.
I reinstalled direct x and C8
Controller works fine with Gamecube games.
What button am I missing or order of things to shut off the wiimote. shutting it off in the options does not seem to work and defaults to keyboard control. I don't want anything to do with the Wiimote as I am using a Pc and the kids have it on the Wii.

Nintendo Wii games use the wiimote plugin not the pad plugins.

it is necessary to use something like xpadder to use a joystick for emulated wiimote. currently emulated wiimote only works with keyboard input

So what your saying is that there is no way to use a ps3 controller without xpadder or something?
I don't want to emulate Wiimote. I just want to use the controller. Wii emulations for player 2 works fine for the ps3 controller, but I can't get it to switch to player one. That is my issue.
