It could be that the texture pack doesn't replace every single texture in the game.

could be.. but its like 3gb big so i assumed it touched most things. any suggestions about a good texture pack or am i derailing this topic too much

It's your thread, so I'm not sure you can derail it. Also, I'm not entirely sure; most texture packs never reach complete status. Maybe this one did?

not sure if its the latest build of it but it was insaneslug's texture pack

yeah, sorry for the double post but it seems some of the textures just wont load while others do.. so if anyone could shed some light on this or brief me a bit on how custom texture loading works with this emulator so i could understand what could be the issue because i know the basics but i dont understand why some do load while others just done.
