You may want to give out a bit more info, Linux is not like windows you kinda have to state the details. Kernel, Flavor, widow manager, ect.. If you use ubuntu make sure you are using 13.04 or later, they released a patch in the 3.8 kernel for HID drivers. May not help but you never know.

I use Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, and the kernel is beyond 3.8 (3.13). It has to do with dolphin using SDL and not the raw files. I just don't know how to override it correctly. I will be installing Arch Linux to see if that happens to fix my confusion with SDL overriding. I seem to have more confidence in coding on Arch. its weird, and I like Arch Linux more than Ubuntu. Bleeding edge software. :3
