RE: sound but no picture? - THELUKESTIR - 08-14-2009 even if you get a new gpu it will run like crap, that cpu is terrible. RE: sound but no picture? - Mariomaruf - 08-15-2009 Luke, why do you always have to go around insulting people's computers? This guy was pretty co-operative. Lol, im talking in terms of dolphin, and in terms of dolphin, his computer is TERRIBLE. In other computing tasks it might be decent but pentium ds arent much better than pentium 4s and its a single core... so its not like im lying
RE: sound but no picture? - Runo - 08-15-2009 Yeah, what should he do? "Oh look, I really like your PC and I dont know why it's not running dolphin properly, maybe you are unlucky..." C'mon! We can't lie to people, dolphin needs a powerfull computer, and if they dont have it we need to say "sorry but your PC is too old" It's not an insult, just an information and a fact... Aways with respect of course! Also i get the error "CreatePixelShaderFromByteCode failed at src/D3DShader.cpp 84". My computer meets the minimum reqirements and supports pixel shader 2.0. Apparently I need directx, but I don't know where to get it from and where should I install it? Please help me out![/size] RE: sound but no picture? - NaturalViolence - 01-29-2012 1. This thread is 3 years old 2. You have failed to provide any relevant information such as settings 3. You already have directx since you're using a windows OS, but you may need to update it by downloading and running the directx runtime installer (look it up on google) 4. Your GPU does not meet the requirements for dolphin. It supports d3d9b and openGL 2.0, dolphin requires d3d9c or openGL 2.1 |
