Is this taking into consideration the multiplayer games which opposing players are not allowed to look at the GBA screen ('Pacman vs.', for example)? Since it is still early in development, perhaps we could use an android phone/tablet for the GBA screen/input? Possibly even a Wii U controlpad when it is thoroughly hacked?

The main new protocol designed for GCN <-> GBA support is designed to not be specific to either Dolphin or Higan, so if, once it's working and documented, another developer for an Android GameBoy emulator wanted to add support, it shouldn't be impossible.

It would be hard though, to run Higan off the Dolphin computer.
Porting code to ARM, making some sort of connection to the computer, decoding the signal, talking to Dolphin, sending signal back to the device, and making sure the latency is low enough not to crash either side would be really difficult. So something a little simpler could do the trick, like a streaming app that only shows (mirrors) the Higan screen and has input controls, similar to like the VLC streaming app. Then the processing and connectivity for Higan <-> Dolphin is all on the computer, but the screen and input are on the Android/iOS/Wii U controller.

Hi,
I'm it again. Yes, I know that Higan is only work in progress and not released but is it already to using SAV-files?
By the way, if you speak of other systems and controllers I've an idea. Can you modify "My Boy!" for Android too?

Thank you, very much!

Has endrift even expressed any interest in the GBA-GCN connection? If not, it probably isn't a good idea to start saying anything or push things on the developer.

But yes, VBA-M needs to be dethroned. That much is true Wink

Good, as long as no one's trying to put words in the author's mouth (which unfortunately is not uncommon at all...)

Hm, ok! But where is the function for the connection with dolphin?
And did you check the audio quality of mGBA? It sounds even worse than VBALink what's already worse than VBA-M.
By the way, the keymapper for the gamepad has a bug and no buttons for speed up and screenshots.

Still better than VBA
