RE: Asus K53SD will it run wii emulations? - admin89 - 05-20-2014 See : http://ark.intel.com/products/53452/Intel-Core-i5-2450M-Processor-3M-Cache-up-to-3_10-GHz Like I said , Hyperthreading (2 cores 4 threads) (05-20-2014, 04:40 AM)ennkos@gmail.com Wrote: also yea my gpu is pretty shitty but it handles games like dark souls 2 pretty well on high settings, i can also run pretty mutch all games on low settingsBut Emulation doesn't work like a PC game that is optimized for your PC . To emulate a console , your PC must be a couple hundred times more powerful than that console . Your laptop is not GT 610M memory bandwidth is terrible (14.4GB/sec) . My GT 540M is twice as fast as yours but it only handle up to 2.5xIR (1600x1320) in most games , Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart only run at 1xIR (480p) . I don't know why would you think a GPU run some PC games at low settings can do better on Dolphin In fact , to max out most games in Dolphin , you will need at least a GTX 780 which cost about 520USD . Btw , you said you can run pretty much all games on low settings but how many FPS do you get ? Base on your GPU benchmark , I wouldn't say so sure if I was you If you doesn't run a wii/gc game at full speed , you will have audio stuttering , lag ...that will make you give up on that game |
