RE: New Qualcomm drivers? - zxcvbad - 05-16-2014 Just checked two different HTC One's (M7) both running 4.4.2 and both have v45 driver, so I was right about it RE: New Qualcomm drivers? - cloud1250000 - 05-16-2014 yes it's still v45 drivers but we are getting some major update soon.. I hope to some change in that manner -.-'' RE: New Qualcomm drivers? - zxcvbad - 05-16-2014 (05-16-2014, 06:48 AM)cloud1250000 Wrote: yes it's still v45 drivers but we are getting some major update soon.. Being able to flash dev drivers or having freedreno with ES 3 support would be great though RE: New Qualcomm drivers? - Nintonito - 05-16-2014 (05-16-2014, 07:18 AM)zxcvbad Wrote:(05-16-2014, 06:48 AM)cloud1250000 Wrote: yes it's still v45 drivers but we are getting some major update soon.. It's a risk, but it would be worth it RE: New Qualcomm drivers? - SeannyM - 05-16-2014 (05-15-2014, 01:10 AM)zxcvbad Wrote: There are dev drivers on Qualcomm site for Adreno 3xx, but it's stated they are for nexus 5, I'm not sure if it's save just to flash them on other devices, perhaps there could be conflicts with kernel The kernel has nothing to do with GPU drivers. I have used the latest development drivers on the Moto G before, I downloaded the Nexus 4 flashable zip and modified it to copy the files to the correct place for the phone since different phones have different system layouts. RE: New Qualcomm drivers? - zxcvbad - 05-16-2014 SeannyM, great to know, especially as a backup. What about stock roms, sony, sense etc is it still okay to flash it that way? Perhaps you could write a post in this forums or maybe a video on your YouTube channel with a short manual ? I believe it'll be really useful for some people since there are so many problems with adreno drivers
RE: New Qualcomm drivers? - cloud1250000 - 05-17-2014 Wierd I tried that way and my device couldn't boot anymore... if you can explain how you did it, it would be nice

RE: New Qualcomm drivers? - Nintonito - 05-17-2014 You need to unpack the drivers zip and find the location of the files on your phone that correspond with the files in your system folder. Then you alter the text file in the zip so the files are flashes into that folder. |
