DSP LLE (recompiler) innacurate? - Darkness Knight - 04-25-2014 Hi guys, I was playing Sonic Adventure DX and have some sound issues: Dolphin v1428. DSP-LLE (interpreter). Audio Backend: XAudio2. 03:30+ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KW8Nr9kZ_go Audio is choppy (no slowdows) 04:20+: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hPWArqm76w Too channels = collapses sound? Then, DSP LLE is innacurate or streaming issues relationed? Salu2 - Darkness Knight RE: DSP LLE (recompiler) innacurate? - pauldacheez - 04-25-2014 I'd bet it's the game's bug, not Dolphin's. Sonic Adventure DX was pretty poorly coded, AFAICT. RE: DSP LLE (recompiler) innacurate? - Darkness Knight - 04-26-2014 Have more evidence but first I upload the video :evil. Salu2 - Darkness Knight RE: DSP LLE (recompiler) innacurate? - Darkness Knight - 05-02-2014 Ok guys, here the video: 01:00+ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zwt3SLCiEKk DSP-LLE can't process many voices of audio at once??? P.D: No sabia que los Chaos fueran tan groseros =P... Salu2 - Darkness Knight RE: DSP LLE (recompiler) innacurate? - pauldacheez - 05-02-2014 ...That's how it fucking sounds on real hardware. Whatever bugs you're perceiving with this game in particular, check exactly how they sound on a real console before assuming that it's a Dolphin bug. Sadly no, in the GC real 01:00+: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3Di4mKuhw8 Salu2 - Darkness Knight RE: DSP LLE (recompiler) innacurate? - jose325i - 05-03-2014 I don't see what you are talking about in the ice cap zone video, everything sounds normal. If you are talking about the collision detection at the end of the ramp, Sonic Adventure is known to have these issues on the actual gamecube. You can glitch through/bounce off walls all the time, the dreamcast version is even worse. I don't hear anything wrong in the chao scene either. I can tell egg man's ship sounds wrong, though. I own both the DC and GC versions of the game, and I'm pretty sure the ship sound does not cut in and out like that. Try HLE audio instead. RE: DSP LLE (recompiler) innacurate? - Darkness Knight - 05-04-2014 The audio is too loud in dolphin: 04:40+ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uwv_A_ve2U4 Sound choppy, even with the X-Fi Titanium. Salu2 - Darkness Knight RE: DSP LLE (recompiler) innacurate? - pauldacheez - 05-05-2014 Volume differences are actually a known issue with the reverse-engineered DSP ROM included with Dolphin. You can easily replace this with a dump from an actual Wii: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-howto-getting-dsp-lle-dumps RE: DSP LLE (recompiler) innacurate? - JMC47 - 05-05-2014 I can vouch for that, Melee has very obvious problems with the reverse engineered DSP Rom |
