Is my pc good enough? - RainbowDashPower - 02-01-2014 Is my PC good enough to run games on dolphin emulator? I have inlet i5-3210M 2.50GHz CPU 8 gigs of ram and an Intel HD graphics 4000 on a windows 8.1 x64. If it is not good enough are there any settings I can use to make it not lag or be slow? RE: Is my pc good enough? - Zee530 - 02-01-2014 What games do you intend to play? RE: Is my pc good enough? - RainbowDashPower - 02-02-2014 I was hoping to play mario kart and Super smash bros. brawl RE: Is my pc good enough? - DJBarry004 - 02-02-2014 Specify the Mario Kart title. Should be enough for SSBB, with some microdrops (mobile CPUs tend to be kind of slow when talking about Dolphin). RE: Is my pc good enough? - RainbowDashPower - 02-02-2014 ok so what settings can I use to make them go faster without lag? RE: Is my pc good enough? - DJBarry004 - 02-02-2014 Well, in latest builds you can use OpenGL since it´s faster than D3D. In Windows, set it to High Performance mode. I think that the Intel drivers allow you to set the GPU to high performance, you´d better look for that in the Intel HD panel (or whatever name it has).
RE: Is my pc good enough? - NaturalViolence - 02-07-2014 D3d might still be faster on an ivy bridge IGP. |
