The i5-4570R and i7-4770R in the gigabyte brix products are way faster than a i5-4250U. But we still don't know what the OP is looking for in performance. He never listed any games. The i5 4250 is pretty slow. RE: Would this Intel NUC (D54250WYK) run Dolphin fine? - KHg8m3r - 02-07-2014 Op said run Wii games fine. The i7 4770R should handle most games that don't need an overclock. Yeah, the i5 4570R is a bit below an i5 3570k. The i7 4770R is a bit below the i7 4770k RE: Would this Intel NUC (D54250WYK) run Dolphin fine? - NaturalViolence - 02-07-2014 And an i5 4250U is way below all three of those. That was my point. Don't get his hopes up. Those cpus will run dolphin well but his will not. Because it's not comparable to any of those. RE: Would this Intel NUC (D54250WYK) run Dolphin fine? - Shonumi - 02-07-2014 What's the point of contention here? KHg8m3r already clarified that by "comparable" he was referring to "comparable in size" not "comparable in Dolphin performance". Without that clarification, you're correct that the OP might get the wrong idea, but KHg8m3r has since amended his statements. |
