NetPlay Support for Homebrew (Request) - ShortFuse - 01-24-2014 Hello, all. I'm the lead developer for the Project M Launcher and unfortunately, in order to use Netplay with Project M, a new ISO has to be rebuilt. As an ISO, it all works perfectly fine. Great job, guys. Unfortunately, every minor patch I want to push out requires a new ISO for Netplay support. I'm not entirely sure, but it seems as though allowing .dol or .elf as an option for NetPlay is simply an oversight. The Netplay window only shows ISO images. Is it possible to add .dol and .elf support for Netplay? Thanks in advance! RE: NetPlay Support for Homebrew (Request) - MayImilae - 01-24-2014 You should probably add this request to the googlecode issue tracker where it will get more attention by the devs. It's also harder for them to forget about it while it's over there. https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/list RE: NetPlay Support for Homebrew (Request) - JMC47 - 01-24-2014 There were other plans for making Project M work in netplay more easily (I think it was fixing gecko code support + letting us use the SD card without causing desyncs.) With the PPC_FP revert, you should be able to boot Project M from the from a wad, at least. I agree though, elf/dol support would be nice. |
