Computer fails to launch dolphin client - submast3r - 08-06-2009
Hi guys I'm running A stripped down version of Vista 64 bit on my macbook pro through boot camp. I'm downloaded the microsoft c++ file that the sticky topic directed me too. I also installed the directx updates that were mentioned in that same topic. Basically what happens is when I double click on the dolphin 3661 build a black text/command box pops up for barely a split second then immediately goes away. Nothing else happens when I try to run the client.
I've tried looking around but haven't seen anyone have troubles even LOADING the program.

download new revs. check the svn section currently 3940.
Don't forget to try x64 build

I tried searching the forum for "rev". Also svn, what is that? I don't see it under the download page?

u downloaded from the main page, and failed to save the file, thus it downloaded to a temorary folder, extracted, and u never saw it again. save the file to a new folder on your hard drive, then extract. happy gaming

that "black" windows maybe is related to the libraries you have installed in your pc but if you already updated them... idk

the build 3661 from the downloads section of the main page is an exe file. the black screen is the cmd prompt that shows the progress of the file extraction. since he failed to save the file, it extracted automatically into the temporary folder where it downloaded to. he needs to save the file as i already stated.
