Wind Waker - bamboozled55 - 01-13-2014 Hi hi. I'm playing Wind Waker on Dolphin 4.0.2 and am getting fps drops in a lot of scenarios, mostly combat. I've messed with all sorts of graphic and sound options without any success. Also, I just got to Dragon Roost and its very spiky looking. For the most part my settings are as low as possible right now. I'm using DSP LLE Recompiler, (read that this setting was significant), and can't change it to anything else. I downloaded something that enabled me to change it, but the game sounded awful. I'm also using Texture under EFB copies. My specs: cpu: intel i7 2600k gpu: radeon hd 6950 ram: 16gigs any advice is appreciated :D RE: Wind Waker - KHg8m3r - 01-13-2014 Overclock your CPU, and switch to the OpenGL backend on one of the latest dev builds, as its faster. RE: Wind Waker - pauldacheez - 01-13-2014 >I just got to Dragon Roost and its very spiky looking ?!?!! Are you talking about the heat haze in the cavern? That's been fixed in current development builds. If you're talking about something else, pics or we can't help you. Other than that, yeah, KH's advice is perfectly applicable – there have been massive OpenGL-only speedups since 4.0 was released (and no, 4.0.2 doesn't include any of them, it only has tiny important fixes), but you'll still likely want/need to overclock since LLE is ridiculously demanding. RE: Wind Waker - Renegade - 01-17-2014 If you want to stick with an official build you can just use a code to fix the heat effect. https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=The_Legend_of_Zelda:_The_Wind_Waker RE: Wind Waker - DJBarry004 - 01-17-2014 (01-17-2014, 09:39 AM)Renegade Wrote: If you want to stick with an official build you can just use a code to fix the heat effect. That -shitty- cheat code is no longer needed in recent dev builds... |
