Apparently the saves aren't cross-region. I only own the NTSC version, so I can't test it, but try changing the SOUE at the beginning of the save file to SOUP and hope that that's the only difference between regions, and that the checksum doesn't include the first 4 bytes.

Hi, I´ve the same problem that you had. I did the same things that you did but I can´t solve the problem. I lost my save after the first battle with The Imprisoned and I don´t wanna play 12 hours again.
