Unable to pair black wiimote plus with Toshiba stack in windows 7 - CriKMundo - 01-10-2014 I got 3 new original black wiimotes motion plus built Inside (RVL-CNT-01-TR). I tried 2 diferent Bluetooth dongles : The rocketfish 2.1 Bluetooth dongle bought at Best Buy and a Kinivo 4.1 Bluetooth dongle bought at amazon.ca. With both of them, I managed to install Toshiba BT stack with the tutorial found on this forum without any problem disabling automatic drivers research in Windows update. Everytime I try to set a new connection, Windows 7 doesn't even detect anything. I can't get to see the RVL-CNT-01-TR signature inside the Toshiba detection program. I uninstalled and reinstalled both the Bluetooth devices and the Toshiba stack multiple times without any good results. The installation of the Toshiba BT Stack is correct because Windows can detect my old white wiimotes (RVL-CNT-01) without problem. I really don't get what I am doing wrong since lots of posts here seems to claim that with Toshiba BT Stack correctly installed (which is the case here) the original RVL-CNT-01-TR wiitmotes I have should already be working... Is anybody experience the same problem ? Is there any possible solution ? I would apreciate so much to get those 3 new wiimote plus working and play with my kids! lol! Thank you! RE: Unable to pair black wiimote plus with Toshiba stack in windows 7 - MayImilae - 01-10-2014 Did you read the mainsite guide? - https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Wii_Remote_Plus_(RVL-CNT-01-TR)_Connection_Guide Did you remember to prepare the toshiba stack for a new device and then press the red sync button on the bottom of the wiimote? RE: Unable to pair black wiimote plus with Toshiba stack in windows 7 - CriKMundo - 01-10-2014 Hi Major, thank you for your answer. Yes i've followed all the instructions in this guide already, i've modified the tosrfusb file addind a line with the corresponding material ID which in my case is USB\VID_0A5C&PID_21E8 for the kinivo device. I did that at the moment the installation program asked me to plug in my Bluetooth device. Then I modified the file. Previously, I had the bluetooth uninstalled completely for a fresh install. The Toshiba stack works well. It can detect old wii remote because I have 2 of those. But my new black wiimotes with motion plus built Inside cannot even be detected. I pressed the red sync button and the 1 and 2 buttons. I repeat, the black wiimotes plus I have are originals and comes from the US. Are there any special wiimotes plus that cannot works even with the Toshiba stack ? RE: Unable to pair black wiimote plus with Toshiba stack in windows 7 - CriKMundo - 01-11-2014 On the bottom of one wiimote, it's written RVL-036. I guess that is the model number. Is that ok ? Is there any special problem with that one ? Then, after it shut off, it no longer recognizes it. I wonder if it has to do with the wii mote itself...you would think that after uninstall/reinstalling everything should be wiped clean. Is there perhaps a registry wipe that needs to happen? wouldn't know the first step in doing that but I will dig around myself. (played Zelda SS for 2 hours so I know it works...) Is there any special problem with that one ? so im thinking that either your bluetooth devices won't accept the -TR wiimote or you have a fake wiimote. if its the bluetooth dongles, then you might have to search this https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-compatible-wii-hardware-list . If your device isn't listed there, then you might have to dig in the forums more to see if others are having the same problem with the hardware. If its a fake wiimote, it may be very difficult to get it to work anyway. If it is neither, I suggest following these steps (i'm assuming you don't have an internal bluetooth and are just using dongles): -uninstall all bluetooth devices via "add/remove programs". check your device manager and make sure you have uninstalled them there too and that no bluetooth drivers still show up. -plug in bluetooth and install drivers. -if there is a capability within the "settings" of your bluetooth stack, make sure you "allow bluetooth to be discovered" -download and run wiipair.exe (just search the forum for it). If wiipair throws you an error, you may need to install visual C++ 2010 redistributable (google the missing .dll file and it will tell you what to do). Note: if you still get the error after installing the redistributable, go to: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcr100d and choose the zipfile option. the other option acts like adware. -install toshiba stack If this doesn't work, this option might, though not sure how windows BT stack will conflict with your dongle and toshiba stack. -try installing windows BT stack first (again google it). after installed, go to your icon tray (bottom right of screen) and left click your bluetooth icon -go to "settings" -make sure you check "allow bluetooth devices to be discovered" or something along the lines of that -plug in your blue tooth dongle and install its necessary drivers. -run wiipair.exe. once wiipair has done its magic, windows BT should say your "HID" has been added or installed to your computer. -install toshiba stack. If none of this works, dunno what to tell you. Make sure its not a fake wiimote and that your dongle supports the -TR wiimotion plus. this is what i did for mine: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-wii-motion-plus-toshiba-drivers-not-finding-remote Good luck! |
