Wii U Sensor Bar on PC - 64DD - 01-01-2014 Can you connect your Wii U to a power socket and use the Sensor Bar with Dolphin? I can't really find a sensor bar for a pc on Amazon.de RE: Wii U Sensor Bar on PC - admin89 - 01-01-2014 Just buy an wireless one ( there is official wireless sensor bar which is made by Nintendo , it uses AA battery ) or USB version (on ebay) Sensor bar doesn't sensor anything , it's just a couple of IR-LED If you think you're good with hardware stuffs , you can make one or convert the normal one https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-noob-friendly-how-to-connect-wiimote-to-dolphin-use-wiimote-in-gamecube-games RE: Wii U Sensor Bar on PC - 64DD - 01-01-2014 Alright probably get an wireless one I thought it had to be connected to a computer xD I could get this one: http://www.amazon.de/Wii-Wireless-Sensor-Bar-schwarz/dp/B004GCIVLS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top RE: Wii U Sensor Bar on PC - admin89 - 01-01-2014 The wireless version version drains battery really fast , i ussually recommend the USB version (less annoying , you don't have to replace battery every couple hours) RE: Wii U Sensor Bar on PC - 64DD - 01-01-2014 The problem is I can't buy one in Germany and I don't want to pay 15€ for shipping and wait 100 years
RE: Wii U Sensor Bar on PC - Nerrel - 01-02-2014 Just to completely answer the original question, no, you can't use the Wii U's sensor bar. After the big spring update the system no longer powers the bar unless a Wii remote is active. I've been using a USB powered bar from Nextronics and I hate it. The LEDs aren't consistent, there aren't as many of them as the Nintendo bar has, and it can't be read by the remote from any angle. It has to be placed below the TV, level with the remote, in order to work. It's a piece of shit. You can see the difference here: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41Uqw8UsCPL.jpg I'd recommend trying a wireless bar instead- good rechargeable AAs are cheap. RE: Wii U Sensor Bar on PC - 64DD - 01-03-2014 Alright I bought this one http://www.amazon.de/Wii-Wireless-Sensor-Bar-schwarz/dp/B004GCIVLS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top I will tell more when I got it and tested it
RE: Wii U Sensor Bar on PC - 64DD - 01-09-2014 @Nerrel You can register the Wii Remote on the Wii though and then register it at dolphin it works I've tested it. |
