Unable to use Dolphin at all - Tashnav - 12-31-2013
When I run Dolphin, the File, etc menus work and the buttons highlight, but only for a second. The file etc menus work but nothing in the list highlights when moused over and then freezes. I've tried dolphin 3.5, 4.0, 4.0.2.

If you update VC++ runtime to the 2012 version, you probably run some 3.5 dev builds (that are old and unsupported) and 4.0 stable.
After 4.0 stable, WinXP has died in terms of support.

But dolphin uses VS 2013 >.>

Precisely. After 4.0 stable, Dolphin started using VC++ 2013 which broke XP support since VC++ 2013 is not supported by that OS.

In that case it uses VS 2010
