Audio stutters in almost all games - Skitt64 - 12-23-2013 I need help. In the games Sonic Heroes and Mariokart Wii, I get very annoying audio stutters in most parts of the game. I've somewhat fixed Sonic Heroes, but it still stutters a good bit, especially when the characters are talking. I don't know why this is happening or how to fix it, but could someone please help me with this? RE: Audio stutters in almost all games - LordVador - 12-23-2013 You need to run games full-speed to get correct audio. If you can't run these games full-speed then the sound will stutter RE: Audio stutters in almost all games - Skitt64 - 12-23-2013 Is there any possible way to fix it if the game doesn't run full-speed? RE: Audio stutters in almost all games - LordVador - 12-23-2013 Not completely but you can reduce stutterings by using OpenAL backend RE: Audio stutters in almost all games - Skitt64 - 12-23-2013 That helped and was less annoying, but the sound, I noticed, started to go a bit off. I just wish that the emulator didn't force games to 50/60 fps or die, because my computer can't really handle games at those speeds. If they don't fix that, I hope at least they'll make it like real video game lag, where only the framerate is affected. |
