If I understand, the Macbook Pro with i7 2.8Ghz and Intel Iris Graphics 5200 should be powerful enough for Mario Galaxy if I set native resolution and no AA. Again, thanks you for your constructive answers.

native resolution (1xIR ~ 480p ) looks awful . Just use 2.5xIR , noAA , 16xAF
My Nvidia GT 540M can handle 2.5xIR in most game (even GPU demanding game like Xenoblade) . I have to use 2xIR for Mario Galaxy though
Intel Iris Pro 5200 is much faster than GT 540M , you know

Cool ! That's perfect then ! Can't wait to get my Macbook Pro now ! Thanks you very much !

OOPS ! I just contacted Apple to ask them what GPU was in the 13" model, they said it was the Intel Iris Graphics 5100 ! Will Mario Galaxy in native resolution work too ? I'm so sorry for this last-minute post...

Just get a regular 15.4" model , Iris 5100 is much slower than 5200 . My friend is also a coder . Trust me , he totally sick of 13.3" display (Asus Zenbook) . He got a MacBook pro Retina 15.6" last year (GT 650M + i7 Ivy Bridge) , 200$ discount for student and totally satisfy with it .

The problem is that it's too expensive for me... Has anyone tried Mario Galaxy on the 13" with 2,8Ghz i7 ?

If it's too expensive for you, you shouldn't get a Mac in the first place. Are you sure it isn't possible to program iOS apps under Windows?

I'm sure it's not. Hackintoshes are not working properly with Xcode and all that stuff. Plus, it's not really legal. But I think I'll stay on a Macbook Pro for light gaming and buy a PC tower later, which will be 2x more powerful for 2x cheaper. But I would really like to know how Mario Galaxy runs on that Macbook !

Intel HD 5100 is slightly faster than HD 4600 . You may have to use 1->2xIR with Mario Galaxy
I just hate low res Tongue

If it runs, then that's good, even with low res. Thanks for the advice though
