If the game window loses focus no input is received without it checked in the wiimote/gamepad settings. RE: do we support win8 touchscreen input - 151proof - 12-13-2013 Having a similar issue and don't want to hijack the thread, but also didn't want multiple threads talking about the same thing. I downloaded the latest dolphin (4.0.2) on a windows 8 tablet with touchscreen. I'm also using comfort on-screen keyboard and it will recognize the keys for the dolphin program (esc to exit for example). However, it won't recognize any of the functions for the gamecube controller. When I go into the controller settings the device is blank. RE: do we support win8 touchscreen input - ExtremeDude2 - 12-13-2013 I doubt dolphin will recognize a virtural keyboard as input RE: do we support win8 touchscreen input - 151proof - 12-13-2013 Right, thats the problem. But, I have the same tablet and am using the same software keyboard as this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IGlS34AFyA I have to be missing something. RE: do we support win8 touchscreen input - ExtremeDude2 - 12-13-2013 But is that the same keyboard you use? I don't know if he is using another version of dolphin, but I've tried dolphin 3.5 as well as the latest version. I've played with lots of settings and no matter what I change the device is blank. The gamecube is set to use the standard controller, but I've tried all options as well. RE: do we support win8 touchscreen input - ExtremeDude2 - 12-13-2013 And what game are you trying to play? RE: do we support win8 touchscreen input - 151proof - 12-13-2013 (12-13-2013, 07:53 AM)ExtremeDude2 Wrote: And what game are you trying to play?I've only tested one, so there may be something to that: Mario Kart-- game seems to run fine-- good FPS and it recognizes the esc key so idk why it wouldn't recognize the others unless it had something to do with the device controller in the settings. I've tried it with the background input checked and unchecked as well-- going to try some more configurations and also try it without fullscreen. I'm running out of ideas though. |
