Pikmin 2 Crashing. - ColdGenetics - 12-06-2013 I have Pikmin 2 but it seems to crash after the cutscene right as it goes into gameplay.. Im not sure where to start.. Some things to note: -Sometimes it freezes at the Nintendo screen -Sometimes during the Cutscene when i start a new game it freezes and says "reading disc..." (usually crashes shortly after, or lags). RE: Pikmin 2 Crashing. - Shonumi - 12-06-2013 Try and use LLE audio (Config -> Audio -> LLE Recompiler). The first game has issues this, all of which are solved with LLE audio according to the wiki. Games that use the so-called Zelda ucode (essentially most of the GC/Wii games made by Nintendo EAD) may have audio related issues under HLE audio. Some of these games use the end of a sound stream to signal that a cutscene is done (a la Wind Waker) and something similar might be going on with Pikmin 1 & 2. HLE audio may miss that signal from time to time; LLE audio won't (that is to say it really shouldn't). EDIT: Whoops. The wiki makes no mention of LLE audio solving the hangs, but iirc I helped someone in the past and LLE audio seemed to work for them. It's something to try at the very least. I confirm what you're saying. LLE fixes hangs/freezes in Pikmin games RE: Pikmin 2 Crashing. - ColdGenetics - 12-07-2013 (12-06-2013, 03:19 PM)Shonumi Wrote: Try and use LLE audio (Config -> Audio -> LLE Recompiler).
