I meanwhile upgraded my hardware to an i7-3770k running at 4.6ghz and a GeForce GTX 980.
I still get those lags or "framehiccups" I was talking about even though I'm running the latest daily release of Dolphin.
PCSX2 instead runs perfectly fine and I can run all of my games fluently without noticable lags.
Of course you can't compare a Gamecube/Wii Emulator with a PS2 Emulator but other than those lags I mentioned Dolphin works perfectly fine.
It just slightly ruins the fun and is also kinda annoying in challenging parts of games like battles or fightings..

This thread is really old, and you should really make a new one instead of necroposting. It's highly likely anything discussed here is no longer relevant to recent Dolphin versions.
