Wiimote classic extension not working for 360 controller - Kon - 11-17-2013 I'm trying to use a 360 controller with Xenoblade, so I chose Emulated Wiimote, selected the gamepad in the dropdown, switched Extension to Classic and mapped the buttons only on that screen. I also checked the box for Background Input. However, when I start the game, the controller doesn't do anything. Is there another step here that I'm missing? Should I map the buttons on the main Wiimote screen as well? Most people only mention mapping them on the Extension screen. I even tried copying some profiles I found on these forums and loading those, but the controller still didn't do anything. I'm running Dolphin 4.0, if that makes any difference. RE: Wiimote classic extension not working for 360 controller - MayImilae - 11-17-2013 Show images of your emulated wiimote settings here please, both for the emulated wiimote and the classic controller. RE: Wiimote classic extension not working for 360 controller - Kon - 11-18-2013 I realized I had downloaded "4.0" from the wrong site ( shall not be named) since it's the first Google result. After installing 4.0.1 from dolphin-emu.org, the controller started working without any other changes. Now that it works though, I can see that my mappings don't match the 360 button skins for Xenoblade at all. Is there a profile for that I can grab from somewhere? Also, the audio is extremely laggy and I'm getting framerate hiccups after upgrading to 4.0.1, but I guess that's a topic for another thread... Is there a profile for that I can grab from somewhere? It's not difficult to set up. Just compare the two controllers in google images, and assign one to the other. Simple. LB is ZL, LT is L, B is A, on and on. It's a cakewalk. You need to maintain fullspeed, otherwise the audio will begin to act up. Some minor visual stuttering is known to occur with Xenoblade even while sustaining a full framerate, use OpenGL to minimize it. Just use a specific Internal Resolution scale (1x native, 2x native, 3x native, etc etc) and not one of the auto options, otherwise graphics effects will disappear.
