MotionJoy USB Driver PS3 Controller Help - omnix32 - 08-02-2009
I have vista 64 9550 Quad 9800GTX+ video card.
Trying to play Naruto clash of something.
The game runs fast and smooth. The issue is trying to get some type of controller configuration to work. I can get the PS Controller to work with the buttons and can see the direction pad movement in the "Wiimote options" analog one left window box move around with the ps3 directional pad.
The issues is I can get no directional pad movement in the game. I tried the analog tutorial and the analog devices don't register. Getting the directional pad to work would be fine as it's not working in game.
I tried to get the keyboard to work but for some reason I can assign no keys that actually work in the game.
One other things. The 7zip files are in .exe format and for some reason 7zip will not unzip them. Winrar does not work and as far as I can tell they are worthless. I was trying to grab the 64 bit version.

finally found a 7zip 64 bit version that would decompress.
same issue though with new version. I can get the buttons to work but no d-pad direction.
I see movement in the Wiimote with direction pad but can not assign a up,down,left,right in the configure njoy 0.3 screen. I know the d-pad is giving values but the controller config screen will not register any value. This does not make sense.
Just a update on my progress so far.

Gamepad function is used for only pitch and roll movements (see sticky), you can set any other buttons, they work only for keyboard

Ok, I was able to get the PS3 Controller working. It was a lot of work, and it only works half the time on Vista 64. Thank you for your input, but it will work eventually.

how do you get the ps3 controller to work? i have mine installed and i can set everything but the dpad most of the time. once in a while it works but then it doesnt and im lost as to how to make it work correctly all the time
