You need to stress test it. Run Furmark: http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/ and gpu-z together to see how your temp reacts to strain. If you want to control fan speeds manually use Rivatuner. Your card definitely SHOULD have variable fan speeds - if it's running at one consistent speed that seems unhealthy to me.

Thank you all for your effords, but... at least they are useless. Let me tell you why. I just got the money for my holiday job, and I went to the Computershop and bought a 260 Gtx. That should solve the problem.
But thanks anyway. If something with my graficcard is running wrong, I know where to look. And I'm going to run a Virusscan today^^

Oh yes, just one thing, I'm not sure, but I think that I read somewhere in this forum that 260-cards can cause problems with dolphin. Is this true? I hope not.

Edit: And if someone want my old card...? Just kidding Wink

uh i havent seen any problems with 260s it should be fine
