There's no way I would buy a radeon 4870 just for 15 FPS more in games...that would give me 75 FPS in dolphin instead of 60 , MIND you, a motherboard AND new PSU?...for FIFTEEN MORE FRAMES?...people are buying money blind
Before criticizing on AGP ensues, look at this link:

http://www.agpbattleground.com/3850%20battleground.html

AGP is fine but if you have a slot with an agp slot you will have to upgrade unless you want like a 6000 series gforce card for the rest of your life... and you wouldnt get 75fps in dolphin rather than 60 if you have a 60fps framelimit... that makes absolutely no sense

Here you go Radeon 4670 1Go AGP ^^

Not Excellent , but good enough ^^

Thelukestir:

I thank you for your support. When it comes to using PCI-E or AGP, a lot of people judge mostly on favorites than fact. What i'm saying is that if you LOOK at the spec comparisions, and if you can USE a dual/quad core that DOESN'T bottleneck, your pc lives on and plays games better than most PCI-E NON SLI/Crossfire users do. I'm sorry, but AGP does me good for now, and there's NO reason to upgrade yet if I have an still play games at full speed.

Oh yeah, RE zero, Wind Waker, twin snakes, and Metroid Prime all play full speed now. Thanks!

Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz

the instructions at the front of this thread didnt boost my gaming experience, could someone please tell me if i should get a new graphics card or processor

RE: Processor speed: good enough? - Lodikis - 09-04-2009

Your processor is good enough yes, it would be nice if you could overclock it but since you can't it's still fine for most stable games.

RE: Processor speed: good enough? - abfab126 - 09-04-2009

Your CPU is Crapy

RE: Processor speed: good enough? - abfab126 - 09-04-2009

Sorry Im Drunk ^^

RE: Processor speed: good enough? - dusilbenafreor - 09-04-2009

so the P4 is the problem, not the graphics card?

RE: Processor speed: good enough? - boogerlad - 09-04-2009

graphic card is hardly a bottleneck. Pentium 4 probably has the worst performance per clock of any cpu.
