The SDK is included with the game, you have to explore the CD and run 'editor.exe' or something like that, and it will install it.

Me and Billy (who made the cannon) use Maya Unlimited 2009. I also use Autodesk Inventor Pro 2008.

It's been improved a lot since the initial release of Crysis but it still could do with optimization.
