MemCards/Save States: Cross-platform compatible? - newherehello - 06-09-2013 Hi all, sorry if this is answered elsewhere, but it should be a quick one... I have GC save states and memory card files on a Mac. Would either (or both) work on a PC? I would like to continue playing the games I have Mac saves for on a PC. If so, maybe someone could show me where to find out how to set that up. RE: MemCards/Save States: Cross-platform compatible? - RachelB - 06-09-2013 Memory card saves are, not sure about the save states, they might be. RE: MemCards/Save States: Cross-platform compatible? - pauldacheez - 06-09-2013 Save states are likely cross-platform if you're using the 64-bit version of Dolphin on both (spoiler: if you're using current dev builds on OS X, that's inevitably 64-bit). But save states are problematic, so don't ever rely on them. Memory card saves are invincible, and they handle different OSes just fine. RE: MemCards/Save States: Cross-platform compatible? - newherehello - 06-10-2013 Awesome, thanks! And you just copy the memory card file into whatever the equivalent windows directory is, and the game will figure it out? RE: MemCards/Save States: Cross-platform compatible? - Zee530 - 06-10-2013 Yes..
