Can't get hires textures to load!! - Wacka - 06-08-2013

Ive been trying to use hires textures to load on Twilight princess (GC) NTSC version but they just wont load no matter what i do, ive checked so the name of the folder is right and it is placed in Load/Textures/GZ2E01 please help!

First, did you make sure to turn on custom texture loading in the graphics options?

Second, did you make sure the pack is for your version?

i did turn on custom texture loading but how do i check the version?

The latter I'm not even sure of, I just know that, at some point down the line, maybe multiple times - I dunno, really -, the folder heirarchy or something for custom textures changed so you make sure the pack is made for a version with the same whatever as the version you use

If you turn on dump textures (which doesn't always work at the same time as load textures), it will dump them to a folder with the same name as your load folder should be called.

Your texture cache accuracy must be set to the same level as whatever it was when the texture pack author dumped the originals, otherwise the hashes won't match up.
