Wii mote connected by does not respond in game. - deathmaker06 - 06-05-2013 Its been a while since I emulated wii but before hand, the wii remotes worked just fine. I'm using the same bluetooth dongle from before and wii remotes and they are able to connect just fine but when it comes to actually using them in game, (in my case Skyward Sword) it immediately says that they are disconnected and to press "A" to continue and reconnect. I Press A but it does not do anything in just sits there but the game did not crash either. I've attempted to fix this by reconnecting it via wiimote menu and after doing so it still does not fix the issue. RE: Wii mote connected by does not respond in game. - pauldacheez - 06-05-2013 Obligatory warning that I'm *really* tired of giving out: 3.5-367 is an old build that you got from an unofficial site. There are newer builds on the official site: http://dolphin-emu.org/download/ As for the issue, uh... I'm no help there. Someone else help him! RE: Wii mote connected by does not respond in game. - deathmaker06 - 06-05-2013 K i updated to the latest dev build and it does the same exact thing. I did read somewhere that pressing alt-f5 might help. I tried doing this and on the top left corner it says connected and disconnected alright right after each other but the wii remote still shows that it is connected and hasn't timed out even after a minute. Edit: just adding to the things I've tried that didn't work. 3 bluetooth usbs, a toshiba, csr, and atheros bluetooth stack. Tried all three on just MS stacks and their actual stacks and that didn't work. Also tried the atheros with its native stack on a laptop and the buttons don't work there either even though both windows and dolphin recognizes the controller is there and is connected. Thought for a while that the controller could be faulty so I connected it to my phone and using a app connected it and was able to get button feedback. RE: Wii mote connected by does not respond in game. - Soopah - 06-05-2013 Do you have a Wiimote motion plus? or a motion plus add-on? zelda : SS need a motion plus to work RE: Wii mote connected by does not respond in game. - pauldacheez - 06-06-2013 If your Wii Remote's an unofficial/third-party one, problems like this are common and unavoidable. (There's a forum thread somewhere where Billiard's offering to fix these issues if you either mail him the remote or find him one being sold online for cheap, but I can't find it right now.) Official remotes tend to work flawlessly, aside from -TR remotes (which have MotionPlus built-in and have the red sync button outside of the battery door) which only work on the Toshiba stack under Windows. The golden remote that usually comes with Skyward Sword is probably the best remote you can get, as it's a non-TR remote but still has MotionPlus built-in. RE: Wii mote connected by does not respond in game. - deathmaker06 - 06-06-2013 @soopah, I have a add-on motion plus @pauldacheez its a genuine remote and is not a 3rd party. Its sadly not the the golden remote though I'd very much like to have one lol and its not part of the -TR series. If I remember correctly it was something 01 I believe. Edit ecided to look at the log to see if I could figure anything out for myself and two things stuck out to me. at 11:17:983 11:37:901 it seems there are stack issues so I'll try to mess with the stacks a bit and see how that goes. One of the three usb bluetooth is native on Toshiba stack and I have one of these wireless bars listed below. Besides this same setup worked almost a year ago with skyward sword on the same exact OS, the only thing that has really changed is my computer but I did attempt this a year ago on the laptop as well for testing and it had worked fine and the laptop has not changed. http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Ultra-Sensor-Bar-Wii-Nintendo/dp/B003SVTEUK/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1370532487&sr=8-12&keywords=nintendo+wii+sensor+bar edit: This is really weird, this morning I thought I'd give it another try and it worked perfectly this time and I'm actually able to use it in game now. I didn't change anything so I don't know if the problem will occur again but if it does I'll try to pinpoint something. |
