Can't press 'A' Button to proceed through Text - JesusNeverFails - 05-19-2013
I am having an issue with trying to get through some text. I have save stated right be fore the event, and even further back to avoid being stuck in this spot forever. I am Playing The Legend of Zelda wind waker and just reached the pirates ship to acquire the bombs, when i open the chest, it will not let me press A. Can anyone help or offer a suggestion?

And try to avoid save states. They may cause a lot of issues

Thanks for the suggestion. For some reason i can't load my last state. I put the same state save file in the new devlopment folder.. and when i try to load it, dolphin crashes

Save states between different Dolphin revisions are incompatible. Use in-game saving to save to the emulated memory card, then you can just move the memory card file to a newer revision's folder when you upgrade.

that makes some god sense. but... now i'm having memory card issues. It won't let me save. The file is not big enough (0x40)... what should i do?

Try deleting the memory card, then open Dolphin. It should create a new memory card automatically, though I'm not sure if it creates one when it needs to save or just when it boots up.

Er, there's no cash donation for Dolphin at this time. Dolphin was accepting donations to get new phone hardware for the Android port, but that's finished iirc. I guess you could just post in the Perpetual Thank You thread in General Discussion. You could always donate time if you want to help Dolphin (translation, wiki info, spread the word to your friends, help other users on the forums, or the mother of them all - becoming a project member).

Aww a damn shame. Well i will certainly get the word out there. I have in fact been using this emulator for about 2 years now i think. I love it!
I'm afraid i have another issue though, I did everything you said and i am having another crashing problem.
When you go to the forsaken fortress the second time to save Aryll, and then fight the monster bird, the emulator crashes. when the dialog ends, the screen cuts to black to transition to the fight scene. but it never shows up. it just remains black for ever. What would you suggest i do?
