Mario Galaxy- Xbox 360 controller - Irrelevant_pelican - 05-13-2013 I'm walking around in Mario Galaxy, and when I let go of the control stick, Mario continues to walk to the left for about 5 steps, even with my thumb off the controller. I increased the dead zone setting under the nunchuk configuration. However now, whenever Mario stops running, he immediately turns and faces the screen, every time without fail. Not sure which problem is worse. Any ideas? Also the music stopped! Only plays during cut scenes. RE: Mario Galaxy- Xbox 360 controller - Shonumi - 05-13-2013 Post a screenshot of your Wiimote configuration. We can't help you very much without knowing what you currently have set :p Additionally, this game is known to have sound issues when using HLE audio. The solution is to use LLE audio, but this requires a very powerful CPU to run at fullspeed (e.g. an i5-3570K @ 4.2GHz). In the future, please keep your thread titles under 85 characters. The forum software has a limit on thread title length. You can make the thread, but the forum will throw up errors for anyone trying to respond, unless a mod or admin edits the original post. RE: Mario Galaxy- Xbox 360 controller - Irrelevant_pelican - 05-13-2013 Thank you, I see. I suppose I go into config and click audio and select LLE. We'll see if my PC can handle it! http://i.imgur.com/uXgfVfq.jpg http://i.imgur.com/UbGosn9.jpg http://i.imgur.com/vWBFiBK.jpg These are my settings, the only thing different from here is I unchecked the "upright wiimote" checkbox. As for the nunchuk part, in the screenshot I hadn't messed with the dead zone option, and Mario walked to the left. After pressing the up arrow several times on the dead zone option (not pictured) he does a 180 degree spin towards the screen every time I release the control stick. RE: Mario Galaxy- Xbox 360 controller - Irrelevant_pelican - 05-13-2013 Ok the controller works now. No idea @.@ RE: Mario Galaxy- Xbox 360 controller - pauldacheez - 05-13-2013 If this problem crops up again, increase the dead zone under Nunchuk > Stick until you no longer have a red dot in there when not touching the stick. |
