I don't think it will work with anything, but windows because you need the toshiba bluetooth stack

There isn't a "fix" for this, currently the only workaround available is using Toshiba Bluetooth Stack, but it'll work only on Windows...

Hmmmmm, would dolphin in wine plus wii pair in wine work correctly (I might do this to get DX extensions anyways)? Ill probably experiment a bit. Do you have any experience at all in Linux?

lol what? Are you guys saying Wiimotion Plus wiimotes don't work in Linux? Where did you hear that? You need to install libbluetooth (libbluetooth-dev for Debian based distros) for Wiimote support. Wiimotion Plus works on Linux too if you look at some of testing entries on the Skyward Sword wiki entry.

I've been meaning to buy a bluetooth adapter; might as well do it tomorrow at Best Buy and tell you how that goes.

Wow, didn't know that. So, currently you can use Dolphin in Windows by using Toshiba bluetooth stack and in Linux by using libbluetooth or libbluetooth-dev, right?

In this case, only Mac have issues with TR Wiimotes, or is there some workaround for Mac too?

THANK YOU Shonumi! I looked at your profile, and I saw you were a Linux user, so i was considering asking you soon lol.

Edit: I got a problem, when the remote is connected, its acting like an actual mouse, it isnt recognized in dolphin since its a part of "keyboard and mouse" input.

I'm actually ordering a bluetooth adapter from Amazon. Some time next week I should have some time to fiddle around with it.

Are you using the Ubuntu builds from the Dolphin site, or are you compiling by hand? You might need to compile it yourself (very easy since Debian based systems can quickly grab all of the necessary dependencies) after you have libbluetooth-dev installed (cmake should see it automatically). From what I gather, you shouldn't need to use a bluetooth manager, just try syncing the Wiimote when you boot Dolphin. I need to do a bit more research about it though, having never dealt with real Wiimotes at all (Windows or Linux :p)

@Jhonn - I have no idea about OS X. pauldacheez would probably know about that (being an OS X user and someone who hangs out on IRC). I have heard of Wiimotes being able to be seen in OS X, but not interacting with Dolphin.

Okay... I got it working, and I dont download dolphin via the website or compile, im just using a repository with constint updates. For some reason the packages I get from the sight wont work (getting error about not having the correct architecture type, even though it says AMD64 on the download, and im using an AMD CPU with AMD 64 :/). Yeah, directly using dolphin works just fine, plus I couldnt get the toshiba stack to work properly (wouldnt install final drivers no matter what I did) on windows, sucked really bad lol.

Have you gotten around the errors with being stuck to ONLY the OpenGL Backend (since some games run better/ less glitches with DX9 or DX11)?
