TLoZ: Skyward Sword running very slow. - axellslade - 05-07-2013

Hi people, I've read everywhere around these forums that some configs lower than mine can handle the game at 30 fps no problems.
Well, I'm getting some 15-17 FPS right now on my config.
Any advices?

Right-click the game - properties - Tick "Vbeam speed hack"

That's true . Use old Dolphin r7719 with a bunch of hack , my laptop can run the game close to full speed 30FPS

@axellslade
He ask for your Dolphin settings , not your specs

Oops. Is there a way to output my settings to a text file or something? I'm using Windows' virtual keyboard right now 'cause my physical one went fubar. Would take a looong time to type it all out, heh.

Or just use Windows "Snipping tool" then upload image on the host site (like mediafire.com)

EFB copies to Ram , direct3D11 ...No wonder why you get poor performance
Use EFB to texture , Direct3D9 , 3x or 4x Internal Resolution , no AA , 16x AF , Force Filtering & Widescreen hack as bonus Big Grin , Aspect Ratio : Strecth to Windows , Render to main windows
Tick "Skip EFB ...CPU access" and Ignore Format change , OpenMP
Press Alt-Enter to toggle full screen

Widescreen hack? Wtf, it's a Wii game. And why Aspect Ratio: Stretch to window and Render to Main Window? Those are odd things to tell him to turn on. Also, Skip EFB Access to CPU? That breaks skyward. And OpenMP screws up as many games as it helps and has to be used very carefully. Dude, what the hey?

Anyway, D3D9 (use OpenGL if you have a crash in silent realm trials), Force Texture Filtering to fix the banding, EFB to Texture, and DSP HLE. You should get pretty good performance with that.
