Wii Remote Plus + Nunchuk + Wireless Sensor Bar problem - racompave - 05-05-2013

Hi, I just bought today the real Wii controllers ( Wii Remote +, Nunchuk and wireless sensor bar ) to play in Dolphin 3.5. I followed the tutorial provided by admin89 on this thread http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-noob-friendly-how-to-connect-wiimote-to-dolphin-use-wiimote-in-gamecube-games. Finally Toshiba Stack managed to detect my controller (RVL-CNT-01) and I started Dolphin with TLoZ Skyward Sword. Unfortunately I cant get past the ''Connect Motion Plus accesory and Nunchuk'' screen. I tried to press all the buttons, connecting and disconnecting the Wiiremote+ but nothing happened. By the way, by pressing the home butom ( the one wich opens the Wii menu ) and then returning back to the game activates the ''Calibrating'' screen for 0,5 seconds more or less,
but inmediately returns to the ''''Connect Motion Plus accesory and Nunchuk'' screen... Sad.

After all this Skyward Sword mess, I tried Twilight Princess, the nunchuk and the wiiremote + buttons worked fine but the movement of the wiiremote + didn't work. I think this is a problem of the sensor bar but im not 100% sure of it...

Anyone knows a fix for this problems?

Lots of thanks.

Hi,

I'm forced to disconnect/reconnect the Motion Plus from my wiimote everytime I launch Skyward Sword. Try to do it, you should be able to pass the screen.

If the wiimote pointer doesn't work, it's probably your sensor bar like you said. Sensor bar is nothing else than 2 lights (2*2 or 2*3 LEDs) who allow your wiimote to locate in space. You can try with two candles (1 left to your screen and 1 right). If it works, then your sensor bar is the problem.

Thanks for the answer. My motion + is INSIDE of the wiimote. I tried to mash alt+f5 to connect/disconnect and actually the calibrating screen appears but it never completes the calibration and it returns to the ''connect devices'' screen inmediately. I tried this like 100 times so this is not going to work...

Using the two candles method fixed my wiimote movemente problem, that means that my sensor bar is garbage.

Maybe the problem is that I don't have the official NINTENDO controller, but Toshiba Stack detects it with no problems. Or maybe wiimote controllers with motion + implemented inside don't work well with Skyward Sword...

If no one have more clues Im going to take back everything to the shop, I hope I can get my money back.

You didn't mention that. It's likely to be your problem indeed.

Mine works just fine (with Toshiba stack). But it's an official Wiimote
