SSBM slow in Linux - slight - 03-31-2009 Hi all. I'm running latest SVN (r2810 i believe) because I can't get the r2745 binary release to work, and I'm having some oddness. SSBM runs ~30-40fps but the actual gameplay is very slow (whereas in-menu is *very* fast). I don't think the gameplay speed is due to my processor speed as the Windows version under Wine gives me normal gamespeed (but it's quite inconsistent and I can't get over 30fps) Specs / software (home server, which is the main one I've tested on): 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo e4600 1GB RAM GeForce 8500 GT Ubuntu 8.10 'Intrepid' nVidia 180 driver lspci: Code: 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation 82G33/G31/P35/P31 Express DRAM Controller (rev 02)RE: SSBM slow in Linux - nosound97 - 03-31-2009 Linux is know to be slow for Dolphin. Try running Windows version through Wine or something that emulate Windows' programs. |
