RE: Can dolphin be...a little inconsistent? - admin89 - 12-16-2012 Quote: LS/SMG2 gives me a bit troubleSomething to do with the settings . TLS don't need LLE , TLS + EFB copies to Ram + HLE = i5 3570K @ 4.2GHz SMG2 + LLE backend should run close to full speed with i5 3570k (stock speed) and full speed all the time if overclock to 4.2GHz i5 3570k @ 4.5GHz is more than enough for those two games Use Settings for best speed and 3x/4x Internal Res , no AA , 16x AF . RE: Can dolphin be...a little inconsistent? - xcyper33 - 12-17-2012 I should be playing this game 100% without any hickups on an i5 3570k OC'd to 4.2 I'm at 4.5 and I get hiccups sometimes. RE: Can dolphin be...a little inconsistent? - admin89 - 12-17-2012 Well , i guess you should wait until new AX HLE can replace LLE backend You can try it here : http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-new-ax-hle-testing-thread RE: Can dolphin be...a little inconsistent? - xcyper33 - 12-18-2012 BTW: I'm running my games through my external harddrive. But that shouldn't affect performance, right? RE: Can dolphin be...a little inconsistent? - DefenderX - 12-18-2012 This doesn't affect performance as long as the external drive is a normal HDD with average speed
RE: Can dolphin be...a little inconsistent? - xcyper33 - 12-19-2012 Last Story runs superb .Yes it drops a little bit in the city at certain areas but it runs at 30fps consistently. SMG also runs at 60fps most of the time but it hicks up. I'm just trying to get someone to clarify if that should be happening to me. When I see people say full speed are they saying COMPLETELY perfect, no hickups at all? Or they generally get 60/30fps for the most part, like me. RE: Can dolphin be...a little inconsistent? - lamedude - 12-19-2012 USB uses CPU but it shouldn't much for a few MB/s. RE: Can dolphin be...a little inconsistent? - DefenderX - 12-19-2012 If you use a modern CPU (not Intel Celeron ) this won't affect the performance.
RE: Can dolphin be...a little inconsistent? - xcyper33 - 12-20-2012 Still waiting for clarification
