RE: PS2 controller for GCPad in a Wii game - mikonium - 12-10-2012 Thanks guys. After some initial confusion, that did the trick! Apparently, I had to start the game over for the new controls to work...using the post-intro-movie save state I'd made the night before, it defaulted to some weird control scheme. It wasn't until I started the game over that it worked with the ones I set in the Wiimote Controller preferences. This game is running beautifully for the most part.... the only issue, and I hear this is common, but I still can't find a fix: the sound. Anything I can do about the crunchy sound? Occurs mostly during talking scenes, and occasionally during gameplay. Right now, I have the sound settings on default. again, using 3.0-87.2-dirty Last question: my thermometer program says my cores (4) are running around 85-95C during gameplay. Generally, how hot is too hot? I want to know what I should look out for as I monitor the heat during gameplay. RE: PS2 controller for GCPad in a Wii game - Zee530 - 12-10-2012 Thats still too hot for a notebook, the safepoint for a notebook should be 85C. You may need to apply a thermal compound to the CPU.
