RE: Direct3d10 plugin ????? - manaurys - 07-16-2009 idk if that hack really works for xp RE: Direct3d10 plugin ????? - boogerlad - 07-16-2009 It doesn't. RE: Direct3d10 plugin ????? - MenaceInc - 07-16-2009 Are you talking about the Alky project? From what I remember, it was an epic fail. RE: Direct3d10 plugin ????? - cmccmc - 07-17-2009 actually the the hacks do work to an extent . My cousins running one of the hacks and it's working great except for a few bugs RE: Direct3d10 plugin ????? - krypking - 07-17-2009 just for the record, chaos is looking for devs to work on the dx plugin
RE: Direct3d10 plugin ????? - hansenderek - 07-17-2009 i think dx has better performance qualities than open GL but open GL emulates everything including the whole ship in metroid prime 1....thats rite i got it to work...lol cept it only gets 3-8 fps thru the intro and 18-22 in gameplay...ugh ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
RE: Direct3d10 plugin ????? - BlinkHawk - 07-17-2009 well, to be honest, direct X tends to be faster than Open GL. Specially because most video cards prioritize Dirtect X feutures rather than Open GL. However, Direct X is only supported by Windows and it doesn't have as much feutures as Open GL.
