Are you talking about the Alky project?

From what I remember, it was an epic fail.
They released the source code though so who knows, it may work out eventually.

actually the the hacks do work to an extent . My cousins running one of the hacks and it's working great except for a few bugs

i think dx has better performance qualities than open GL


but open GL emulates everything including the whole ship in metroid prime 1....thats rite i got it to work...lol cept it only gets 3-8 fps thru the intro and 18-22 in gameplay...ugh SadSadSadSadSadSadSad

well, to be honest, direct X tends to be faster than Open GL. Specially because most video cards prioritize Dirtect X feutures rather than Open GL. However, Direct X is only supported by Windows and it doesn't have as much feutures as Open GL.

yea i kno...but i was looking thru other peoples threads on diff sites and i have higher specs than they do...but i have way lower fps...its so dumb...ughh...

idk why its so slow now...............
