Except at the time "Fast mipmaps" was removed nobody raised any objection about it. If people had gotten involved on the bug tracker and listed games that have issues without "Fast mipmaps" enabled that option would most likely have been kept.

Yeah no delroth, I deliberately removed that option even though I knew it breaks a game or two.

At the time only two of the problems had been reported, which proves the point of the removal.

All changes that are worth putting into master, imo. Especially #2.
I agree. Except for #3. Disabling fog is actually really useful (not for speedup but for the game to look clearer). I would post pics but I don't want to derail this thread.

I'm not a big fan of having options that change the way a game normally works. If the game has fog, it should have fog. If the fog is not working correctly, that's another issue, but that doesn't mean fog should be disabled.

Hacks are for when an emulator is finished and people want to mod the games to look like something different.
