The Yellow/Blue doesn't really work perfectly with colorcode glasses though... I wish there was a way to adjust the colors... ![]() I haven't attempted this yet with dolphin though. Mainly because I'm to lazy to port it to my other computer that has dolphin. This is my slightly lower end computer. ... both are low end lol. You need to adjust your separation and convergence. It's something that is unique to every game and something you will need to experiment with for a while. Anaglyph won't work with Dolphin as Dolphin is OpenGL (although you COULD use the DX9 plugin instead I guess). And YE-HA.. time to upgrade I'd say. Even my 6-year-old piece-of-$h1t Dell has a better processor than that LOL (did I mention it was $500 when I bought it). BUT, if it can run Project64 and you can play your old N64 games at high-res, WHO CARES?!?!!?
RE: True Stereoscopic! - ngsmith99 - 07-22-2009 I tried older versions of Dolphin that still supported DirectX and it worked with the IZ3D drivers with every common setting including yellow/blue. IZ3D supports only OpenGL Stereoscopic that is quad-buffered. If quad-buffering is turned on within the OpenGL library it should be possible in Dolphin. The IZ3d driver does the dirty work of creating the stereo frames. This is possible with other OpenGL games like Unreal Tournament 3 which run openGL. This is something that needs to be brought to the attention of the Devs. I thought about posting it in the suggestions but that is 20 pages long and I am sure it will be little noticed. They have written code for many of the popular OpenGL games http://www.tridef.com/home.html Finally, IZ3D are very helpful on their forums and listen to their customers. RE: True Stereoscopic! - Runo - 07-23-2009 You know, in 2008 NVidia released the GeForce 3D Vision, wich are a pair of glasses that makes the games no just look 3d, but looks really that things are out of the monitor, without applyng any patches and NVidia has a list of the games that works better and worse with 3d vision. The trick is that the glasses has a polaroid fiber and communicates with the computer usind bluetooth, the glasses lens turns black and transparent very quickly alternating left and right, sincronized with PC's refresh rate. It works only with LCD monitors, Windows Vista or higher, and Geforce 8, 9 and GTX series. It doesnt creates the 3d with color diference, but creates a ilusion using the distance between our left and right eyes, wich is what creates our perception of the 3rd dimension (dont know how it is called in english) in real life! It was designed to work with PC games, but it is quite possible to work with dolphin, but Im not sure because I dont have it and still it is only sold in USA, but who knows? It gives the user the ilusion of looking to a window, really awesome! |
