RE: Dolphin on Windows 8, no worky - Coflash - 11-17-2012 Wind Waker Worked fine on OSX and W7... It's always worked fine on Win 7. I've tried the latest dev build on the Dolphin homepage + stable RE: Dolphin on Windows 8, no worky - Anti-Ultimate - 11-17-2012 Maybe the dump got corrupted during the installation or backup process, maybe try redumping RE: Dolphin on Windows 8, no worky - Coflash - 11-18-2012 I did, same issue RE: Dolphin on Windows 8, no worky - Coflash - 11-18-2012 (11-18-2012, 07:34 AM)Coflash Wrote: I did, same issueWhen I put it on OpenGL instead of Direct X 9, it works fine (apart from glitches), but it gets past the point where it always goes black at. Could there be an issue with DX9 somehow? Any recommended options I should change? RE: Dolphin on Windows 8, no worky - DefenderX - 11-18-2012 What about DX11? Did you try this graphics backend? RE: Dolphin on Windows 8, no worky - Coflash - 11-19-2012 It's an Intel 4000 (laptop), which runs Wind Waker at a constant 30 frames, but not on DX11 I used a custom build I found on the forum, hasn't been a single issue so far RE: Dolphin on Windows 8, no worky - lpitrat - 07-20-2013 I was getting the same error. I fixed this issue by downloading dolphin 32 bit rather than the 64 bit. EVEN when you have windows 8 64 bit download the 32 instead and it should work. Hope this helps some people :-). RE: Dolphin on Windows 8, no worky - NaturalViolence - 07-24-2013 Something else is wrong then. That shouldn't be happening to you. Lots of x64 win 8 users have been able to play WW on 64 bit builds just fine. |
