Gamecube Controllers - dbonar - 04-18-2012 I assume they made a third party gamecube controller for the pc. Will those controllers work with a gamecube game in Dolphin, or do I need a Nintendo released gamecube controller with a USB adapter? Side Note: IR scanning bar for wii, what is a good IR scanning bar to purchase? RE: Gamecube Controllers - ulao - 04-19-2012 The best PC solution I have seen here is using an xbox 360 as it does work on a computer. There are a lot of adapters out there to pic from, I even make and sell an adapter ( see sig ). Personally I like using the OME + usb adapter but a lot of people around here use the 360 and like it. RE: Gamecube Controllers - AnyOldName3 - 04-19-2012 If you have an XBox it's the best choice, as you don't have to hack anything (which you do with a ps3 controller), it has analogue triggers, a wireless adapter to connect it to a PC costs the same as a cheap (but functional) wired gamepad, and Windows supports it brilliantly: for other games, such as Skyrim, it's just plug and play. If you have one, it's the best choice. If you don't, it's still a pretty good choice. RE: Gamecube Controllers - dbonar - 04-19-2012 I actually just got done installing the driver for the xbox360 controller. Thank you for your help. RE: Gamecube Controllers - AnyOldName3 - 04-20-2012 You're welcome. |
